Study Abroad

 

　Taro is a high school student who wanted to study abroad in Australia. He asked his parents, but they said no. They (　1　). He told them that he really wanted to go abroad because he wanted to learn English and make new friends from other countries. His parents finally decided to let him study abroad for a year.

学習アドバイス

 

大問3は空所を埋める問題です。空所の前後の文が問題を解くカギとなることが多いですが、パラグラフの最初から読み下していった方が、文の流れがつかみやすく、速くかつ正確に問題を解くことができます。（はじめから空所の前後しか読まないという方法では、かえって内容を理解するのに時間がかかり、なおかつ間違えやすいので、お勧めできません。）文章はそれほど複雑ではないので、論理的に考えれば解くことができます。
